GrowDirector is an Israel company that produces automatic growing systems. The main goal of the company is to make the process of growing as simple and fascinating as possible: for this purpose the agronomists and IT-specialists from the company's team have developed a unique automated system with an understandable interface.
The task of the project was to create packages of devices for automatic growing and an original informative stand, which would attract new distributors and customers and increase brand awareness during a highly specialized exhibition.

The expo-stand stylistically reflects the main activities of the company. The stand zoning was developed taking into account the client's wishes: mit-zone, focus-zone with led screen and company slogan, negotiation zone and functional shelves for demonstration of devices. In the design of the stand walls, the functional elements were the main advantages of the product.
In this packaging project, we faced the challenge of developing a unique unified and multifunctional packaging for six devices of the company. The main criterion for the development of the packaging outline was the exact and tight fit of the cardboard inside the packaging to the devices and the elements of the set.
We have developed several die-cut contours for prefabricated packaging. This is the main contour, which provides for glue-free folding, convenient dimensions for logistics and transportation of devices, elements for easy opening and fixation of the front cover. There are also two liner contours that functionally fix the device on the sides and ensure a tight position of the device inside the main package. Two additional contours of complex triangular inner mini-packages for bundle items with a window squeeze for one unique socketed device. One decorative cover outline with manual and company slogan.
Production of packaging is supposed to be made of three-layer corrugated cardboard with a thickness of 2 mm and flexo printing with two Pantone colors, including White. Such packaging is universal for all devices and contains only branding. The main information had to be placed on a specially designed by us polygraphic sleeve. The sleeve (rim) of the package is a polygraphic structure to protect the main package and broadcast six different designs for the devices. This element of the package is supposed to be offset printed with an adhesive element and using Pantone inks, including P877 - matte silver. As a result, the client received a packaging design which satisfied their marketing, logistical and aesthetic needs. We were happy to work on this project, which is a worthy representation of our packaging design skills in the portfolio.
